Lucerya Privacy Policy

Lucerya is an iOS app developed by Weightcraft LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company (“Weightcraft,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information Lucerya handles and how.

The short version: your data stays on your device. Weightcraft does not operate servers that receive or store your personal information. There is no cloud backend, no user account system, and no analytics tracking.

What Lucerya is for

Lucerya is a food and training companion app for adults using GLP-1 medications (Wegovy, Ozempic, Mounjaro, Zepbound). It helps you track protein intake, weight, resistance training, sleep, and common side effects, so you can focus on preserving muscle and maintaining nutrition quality during weight loss. It is not a medical device or a medical service.

What you provide during setup

• First name
• Date of birth
• Sex at birth, height
• Current GLP-1 medication, dose, and start date
• Starting weight and goal weight
• Preferred unit system (metric or imperial)

What you log during use

• Food entries (description, protein, optional calories)
• Weight measurements
• Resistance training sessions
• Medication dose events
• Common side effects (nausea, fatigue, constipation, headache)

All of this is stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. Nothing is transmitted to Weightcraft.

Apple Health (opt-in)

If you connect Apple Health in Settings, Lucerya can read body mass, sleep analysis, and step count from HealthKit on your device. All reads are local. We do not write to Apple Health and do not read other data types. You can revoke access in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Lucerya.

What we do not do

• We do not use analytics (no Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Firebase, or equivalent)
• We do not use advertising identifiers
• We do not serve ads or sell data
• We do not have third-party tracking SDKs
• We do not operate a backend that receives your data
• We do not share your information with third parties because we do not have your information to share

The only third-party frameworks Lucerya uses are Apple’s own (SwiftUI, SwiftData, HealthKit, StoreKit, UserNotifications).

Subscriptions

Lucerya is a paid subscription app. Apple handles the transaction through the App Store. Apple provides Weightcraft with confirmation that you have an active subscription but does not share your payment information with us. All subscription management happens in your iOS Settings. Your rights

Because your data lives on your device, you control it completely.

• Access: Everything Lucerya has is visible in the Settings and Log tabs
• Export: Settings → Data → Export produces a JSON or CSV copy of your data
• Deletion: Settings → Data → Clear All Data wipes everything. Deleting the app also deletes the data
• Correction: Edit or delete any entry from the Log tab

Children

Lucerya is for adults 18 and over. Onboarding prevents users under 18 from completing setup.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy if the app’s behavior changes. Significant changes will be noted in-app. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.

Jurisdiction notes

GDPR (EEA): Because Lucerya does not collect personal data on Weightcraft servers, you are effectively the controller of your own data. Access, deletion, and portability rights are exercised through the app itself.

CCPA/CPRA (California): Weightcraft does not collect your personal information on our servers, so we have nothing to sell, share, or disclose. We do not sell your personal information.

Connecticut Data Privacy Act: Weightcraft is not a “controller” under CTDPA in any meaningful operational sense because we do not process consumer personal data on our infrastructure. Your data lives on your device and is governed by the iOS privacy protections.
